HystAR is a high fidelity hysteroscopy simulator and the official simulator of the AAGL EMIGS programme. It combines dry lab reusable training models with wet lab hydrogel based pathologies to deliver the full spectrum of hysteroscopic skill development on a single platform, from basic scope handling to advanced operative procedures with fluid management.
HystAR provides a complete training pathway: EMIGS validated tasks build core hysteroscope handling and instrument skills, before trainees progress to dry lab and wet lab procedure simulation covering polypectomy, adhesiolysis, fibroid removal, septum resection and more. Every session is captured in Totum, with performance metrics and video review available for all modules.
